I found this article when reading the Amazon reviews and comments for The Fourth Turning and Worldchanging. One of the reviewers of The Fourth Turning was not impressed with The Fourth Turning and directed readers to the book Worldchanging.
It is hard to ignore the ability of generational cycles to predict the future. In The Fourth Turning, the authors were able to predict in 1997 much of what has taken place in the last couple years. Therefore, I think it behooves us to take a look at their projections for the next 20 years as it likely represents a general sense of what will go on unless a paradigm shift occurs. As a consequence, I highly recommend it.
Worldchanging advocates a paradigm shift that emphasizes utilizing new technology to live more sustainable lives. The article linked to above implores us to not forget that spirituality played a role in early environmentalism and should not be dropped by the wayside as we make our way forward.
