Mainstream firms are starting to realize that we have a problem. An excerpt from a report (PDF) generated by "one of the largest inter-dealer money brokers in the world":
Neither should investors be fooled by the cornucopian's argument that technology will necessarily ride to the rescue. This argument is essentially equivalent to the statement that, if you locked a boffin up in a bank vault with enough cash and a sufficiently powerful computer, he would eventually materialise a ham sandwich. Technology is not the Seventh Calvary, poised to ride to the rescue.
For those of you who reside in the Spokane area, I have a copy of the dvd -- Chris Martenson's Crash Course -- that provided much of the basis for the report. I will be more than happy to loan it to you.
